Course Details:

The Solberg Airport Duathlon and 5K is a flat and fast course that takes place at Solberg airport in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. There will be an exciting aspect to this duathlon.  The starting leg of the duathlon will be a 5k leg through portions of scenic Solberg Airport. The run will start and pass by the main building onto a taxi way and eventually cross the main runway.  Before leading to a hard packed trail that leads out of the airport and returns to finish the 5K and first leg of the duathlon.  After transition the 18.1 mile bike portion will proceed on well paved streets that travels through residential neighborhoods and past horse farm and preserved farmland.  Readington was founded in the early 1700’s and has some of New Jersey's least traveled and most scenic roads.  After transition 2 the 2 mile run will start at the same location as the first and is an out and back route. 

The 5k Race will travel the same leg as the duathlon 5k!!!

POST RACE AWARD CEREMONY WITH AN AWESOME RACE DAY CELEBRATION, WHICH INCLUDES A GREAT POST RACE COOKOUT. THERE WILL BE A HOT AIR BALLON BLOWUP WHERE YOU CAN ACTUALLY WALK THROUGH A REAL HOT AIR BALLOON! THERE WILL ALSO BE AIR PLANE RIDES, MOON BOUNCE, DJ AND MUCH MUCH MORE! BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY FOR A GREAT DAY OF FUN! THEY WILL LOVE IT!!!

TIMING & RESULTS:
Lin-Mark Computer Sports, Inc.
All participants, both events, will be assigned a WinningTime transponder chip ankle band. You are financially responsible for the return on the band at the finishline area, even if you DNF. However, there will several volunteers to assist you with chip removal shortly after you cross the finish line. But if for some reason you are forced to DNF please return your chip to any volunteer and they will ensure it is returned to the timing officials.

Results posted prior to the awards ceremony and on Lin-Mark's web site event day. You will also be able to print out your own results cards.

Refund Policy:
Athletes may request a partial refund by submitting an email request prior to September 1st 2008. Approved requests will receive a credit of 50% of your race entry fee that can be applied toward another NJMSA race. You can use this refund until the end of the following race season. After September 1st, 2008 all entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
